This meeting is intended to help support states and EPA to further identify challenges & barriers to emerging contaminants. A survey was sent in February 2018 to receive feedback, information complied from the survey assisted us in helping to define state “emerging contaminants” or “contaminants of emerging concern”, and if your state identify a specific list of chemical compounds as emerging contaminants or does your state use a broader definition that includes whole classes of chemical compounds, or does your state monitor for any emerging contaminants, these and other questions, roundtable discussion and comments will be explored at this meeting.
