Welcome 2018 National Pretreatment Meeting Participants!

The 2018 National Pretreatment Meeting will bring together state and federal permitting and pretreatment personnel and other stakeholders. The meeting will be designed to engage participants in program visioning, identify ways to improve permit quality, highlight emerging technologies and discuss how practitioners can better leverage technology, and foster closer coordination and collaboration between state and federal practitioners and other stakeholders.

Attendees:

The National Pretreament Meeting is a national meeting organized by state and federal regulators for EPA and state program staff representatives. Attendees will include:

State program staff involved in managing pretreatment programs
EPA Headquarters and Regional staff involved in pretreatment program management
Partnering state and federal agency staff that provide technical and/or regulatory assistance to pretreatment programs
Invited guests

Meeting Space and Lodging:

The meeting and the lodging will be held at the Tommy Douglas Conference Center ("TDCC"), 10000 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland.

TDCC Amenties:

TDCC is located in suburban Montgomery County, Maryland, nestled minutes from downtown Silver Spring, with 160 newly renovated guest rooms, meeting space, wireless internet, after hours lounge, fitness center, game and recreation center, dinning room and business center. A local mall is located accross from the facility with shops and stores.

Getting to TDCC:

From Reagan National Airport (DCA) - 40-60 minutes taxi or take the Metro Blue or Yellow line to L'Enfant Plaza, board Red line towards Glenmont, exit Forest Glen station Uber/Lyft/Taxi 5 miles.

From Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) - 35-50 minutes taxi or take the BWI Express bus (every 60 minutes) to Greenbelt Metro Station Uber/Lyft/Taxi 6 miles.

From Dulles International Airport (IAD) - Take the Silver Line Express Bus (every 20 minutes) to Wiehle-Reston East metro station, board Silver line train towards Largo Town Center, exit metro, board Red line towards Glenmont metro station. Uber/Lyft/Taxi 5 miles.

Driving the Beltway/495 North - 495 North exit 28A north towards New Hampshire Ave. Left lane, turn left to Powder Mill Rd. Entrance to TDCC straight ahead towards left. Parking spaces are available at TDCC.
